Off Topic Boss GT-100: Alex Hutchings Axis Content

I stumbled on the GT-100 a few weeks ago and have been searching everywhere for sound clips and demo's This thing is boggling my mind as far as the range of tones and the quality of the sounds. I have been using an ME-70 for a few years and have quite honestly not been very impressed. Any current Gt-10 users thinking o upgrading? im wondering if I should replace my entire effects setup with one of these....

I pre-ordered one a few weeks back - but I'm not optimistic. Boss has let me down with the last 3 GTs. Here are some more sound samples:

Lots of discussion over at BossGTCentral.com. The nice thing about Alex's videos is that he uses EBMM - more of an apples
to apples thing.

I absolutely love Alex. That's the problem. He's so amazing the demos he does all come out pristine thanks to his fingers.

I agree.....Alex could play through a box of matches and it would blow us all away.....However, I am sure this pedal is pretty good...But like any processor, amp, or pedal..., it must be tweaked....if not it sounds way to processed...Most of us who are chasing that perfect tone...don't want to admit that most of it comes through our fingers and technique...or in the user knowledge of our equiptment...Sometimes, it is easier to try something new, rather than to learn how to utilize what we have!!! I am guilty too....I has G.A.S. and limited patience!!!

Man... Alex is an absolute monster. Always enjoy his playing. Haha it's hard because I certainly agree he could make just about anything sound good

Alex is a great, as always...I use Boss GT-8 for last five years, and thinking about upgrade to GT-100. It sounds really good to me.

Same here. Will see. Still like my GT8 so not sure of the upgrade but the new features in the GT100 are tempting!
