....COLD THIS TIME OF YEAR! I need to publically apologize to Glenn for not making him aware I was heading up...no laptop on this trip (wah...nor guitar either). Looks like I'm planning on heading up again in the spring.

GO SOX!

Amen to that OC!

My wife and I just got back from visiting our daughter up at Mt. Holyoke
College in South Hadley, MA (parent's weekend). Darn chilly, glad to be back
here in FL (aka, the hurricane state).

Interesting note on the trip, on one of the legs, we struck up a convo
with the guy next to us. Turns out he was a guitar player and taking
a break from touring. His name escapes me right now but he did mention
that he writes the Metal Shop column in Guitar World mag.

Take care,
--scottie

Jon Donais or Matt Bachand.....one of the guys from Shadows Fall. They co-write it. That's cool. This is the first time I've been anywhere and didn't see 1 person I am associated with (aside from my girlfriend....). It was rather refreshing.

OC that's okay I'll forgive you this time. Yah it's been a little bit colder than normal here in the Baystate, but hey that's New England.

Yah we are all pumped that the Red Sox are in it and are playing as well as they are. This seasons team is great!!! They finally have something they haven't had for a long, long time a picthing staff (releavers) and hitting.

Next time we'll try to plan something. I was pretty tied up with the kids and Bday partys and what not. How was Salem?? This is the week to be there.

Later, Glenn |B)

...on a Monday, I am waiting...oops, wasn't supposed to type that here. ;)

re the Sox: 2-0, baby...very nice. I think that they'll only pull off one out of 3 (more than likely the middle game) in STL to bring the show back home and win it in Gm 6 at Fenway. You would think that they'd have to; it'd mean so much more to win it on your home field (just like AZ did here in 2001).

On topic, it is getting cold everywhere...finally. We here in AZ are graced with 50-60 degree temps overnight. I know that that's child's play to you colder folks, but hey, I'll take it rather than 109 degrees with 15% humidity, when you can just feel your skin burning off of you when outside. :)

The feakin' Atlantic Ocean is a cold mother too.....damn boats....getting over being wet all day for the past week. Got another 3 to go...testing some new toys for our boys! It is fun though...gonna break out the full bodied wet suit tomorrow. I like the fall time though. It just feels nice.
