Hi all, I bought a Sub1 guitar off Ebay recently.

Anyhow, the guy removed the neck to ship it, and i noticed a brown shim in the package. He never stated where to put it, so im curious WHERE it goes. When I put the neck on without it, the action is horrible. He claimed when he had it, the aciton was ultra low and played great. The neck is bowed to much, so im curious how and where that brown shim rests.

Also, I stripped one of the screws almost, is there a place to get the identical screw for these units?!?

Thanks for any help!!!

The shim would have been put on the 2 screws that are closest to the bridge. You can call customer service for new screws if needed 1 866 823-2255

problem fixed (yah I know, not the ideal way to deal with a USA made quality instrument) but for us Canadians, it makes the shipping a LOT cheaper. Anyhow, its shimmed up and good to go. When i talk about the stripping, im makign it a LOT worse then it sounds. I simply am saying you can tell it's been screwed, not torqued to ****. I jsut want it to look totally mint again as the body and neck are blemish free and in perfect shape. I jsut gotta tweak up the neck and bridge now to my climate and i assume she'll play like butter. Im already tweakign and it's starting to feel good :)

good luck!, the sub is a great guitar. For me its the perfect balance ebmm quallity and playabillity that you can take to a show and not be paranoid about scratching it!! I got a sub HH myself and love it to death!
