Well gosh, I'm a bit overwhelmed here with all the attention. Let me try this one bit at a time.

1. Pictures of your bass: well, I'd love to see your bass as I generally love all things MM in nature, but Rod Trussbroken is the man here who is collecting all the photos for his website. If you'll send him a photo of your bass, it will join mine and many others to live forever on the internet in Australia.

2. I sometimes find it hard to keep track of my basses, too, so no shame in that, sir.

3. Should you trade your SR4 and a hundred bucks for a Bongo? Only you know the answer to that one, I'm afraid. I think the dual humbucker Bongos are a gift from God, but you may not have the same experience. My best advice is to keep your Stingray if you're happy with it and save up for a Bongo in the future.

Now having said that, I'm trying to sell a Sterling in order to finance another Bongo, so my opinion is definitely suspect.

Financially, the deal sounds pretty good, but again - if you're happy with the Stingray, why get rid of it?

BTW, I have no problems whatsoever with the Bongo's pickup size or placement, but then I don't really slap.

Good luck, man!

Jack

Well, some guy here has like 70 Stingrays.

I mean, I think I have a little problem with SIX, but then I think about that guy and I feel perfectly reasonable.
