BP LKIII Update?

I have been wondering how the LKIII trails have been going. Originally we saw both stand and reverse headstocks a few different body woods and both HH and HSS configs. We know the reverse headstock is out and LK seems to still be testing both HH and HSS configs but what about the body wood? Is he still testing that out too or is that part settled also. I am hoping mahogany is in the lead

we are getting very close to showing you the final final...no reverse headstock that lasted about two days after the novelty wore off...Passive Di marzio pickups custom wound exclusively for Luke....He will still use the emgs but is over the top on the new di marzios...secret weapon when you tap on the tone control...and it has nothing to do with coils....

Can we find out what the wood the body is made of or must we wait for the reveal? I have a feeling there is some sort or solo/mid boost in there but what ever it is it should be cool!

You'd better go n see Toto on tour... Luke is road testing this new guitar which might be HH.
For the rest, BP and Lukey are the only ones to know all the secrets...
All I can say is that the tone is amazing, maybe a lil more detailed...

Where else can you get info on a guitar that hasn't even been fully revealed yet thanks BP! As for the secret weapon I'm thinking a boost similar to what Godin has done that turns the active pickups into passive ones or along those lines.

Thanks BP for the update! Can't wait to see what you and Luke have planned for the final version. I've wanted 2 HBs in a Luke for a long time and am glad Luke finally came around. Really curious about the body wood and the secret weapon.

Cant wait to see the final outcome. Really looks promising. It would be really really awesome if it was mahogany body and the rosewood neck with the passive HSS or HH pickups. The secret weapon sounds cool too. Maybe a blower switch integrated into the tone pot? That would be sweet.
