Hi BP,
we've seen Dargin's affinity for his Aggy rig but I was just wondering if you had any time (ya right)at NAMM to check out any amp makers and if there's any gear , other than basses, that's got your ears perked up? even some thoughts about your run with the MM series of bass amps and development??

I llike Dargies aggy (a gift from bp) But i blew thehorn out if testing the new bongo single coild and the two pickup basses.

I am really impressed with the Mark stuff (formerly our stuff) Marco is a great tonesmith.

I could only leave the booth to walk my dauchshound, (BP speak for taking a leak)

I'm with BP-- the Mark Bass stuff is great. I just got back from a 6 week Europe tour and used the MB rig. I had a 4x10, a 2x10 and a 2x15. I had a 501 and a 503 amp. I would use a combo of the 2x10 and the 4x10 with the 503 and the 2x15 with the 501 and it was SUPER COOL!!
But the big suprise to me was the 2x15 with the 501 by itself. It blew my mind. I was playing with the Carl Verheyen trio and in the guitar trio format the 2x15 with the guitar was a beautiful match. I have been a multiple 10" guy for a long time and I have made a slight paradigm switch.
I have been using Marco's stuff for around 8 years and NEVER had any amp go down or blown any speakers. I keep a rig in Europe and one here in L.A.

I am digging my MM audiophile HD500 head with the MM Audiophile 2x12 cab. I am looking for another MM 2x10 cab(sold mine to a friend who needed it).

I see one online and waiting to hear back how much shipping will be.

Aguillar im assuming??? I have one of their 4x10 cabs and its great

I'm using the Aguuilar AG500SC head and it sounds absolutely wonderful with both of my Bongos, and my Sadowsky. I've been a big fan of the Aguilar sound since I had my DB750. But, that thing was absolute bear to move around--especially considering I was competing with all of 7 1/2 clean guitar watts. :D

The AG500SC sounds just as nice without the extra 50 lbs of weight.

I also have a EB MM Audiophile HD500 µ
I had it for sale for a while but now I'm using it again this time not with the custom Dave Larue EB MM cab (4X10" with high Frequency Horn 700W@8Ohm)but with an Ampeg SVT50 PRO Isovent cab (2X10" with horn + 2X15" clamshelled 600W@4Ohm)
Sweeeeeet !
