I destroyed another Morley (this makes #4!, POS pedals!!) and wish I could replace it with an EB instead of another Morley!!

I only keep buying these because I like the switchless design and the tone of the Bad Horsie 1 (the 2 sounds like crap).

So c'mon big guy, where's the wah! :)

The Crybaby 95Q has switchless design and a Q dial (to set the sweep of the wah), and also a volume boost dial.

Maybe try one of those out? I've used one before and liked it, although they aren't super agressive.

I tried one of those when I replaced my last Bad Horsie. I just didn't like the tone of it. :(

what wah wah?

I hope this is an imposter logging in under Sterling's credentials. Then again, he only said he would not take a laptop with him. He never said he wouldn't use a computer at a hotel or some public place!

I waited for word on that wah pedal too, but I think it's been put on a backburner.

What would be interesting is to use the EB Vol pedal as a potentiometer only, and run it into an external wah box. Hmm ... project next time I get some spare cycles ...

I really like my Crybaby Classic with the Fassel inductor. It isn't switchless but it really has a killer wah tone. Very open vowel sounding.

Now I can play the theme from "Shaft" as my own personal soundtrack wherever I go. :D

Nice Spud! Good inductors seem to be hard to find these days. I've got a wah pedal that I'm always tweaking ... I'll have to look into this.

Yeah the guy who runs it is a gentleman - makes and rewinds all kinds of pickups including Fender Rhodes piano pickups.
The guy knows his stuff.
I'll PM you to keep within forum rules.

Might be a bit tricky with a Bad Horsie, as its an LED/LDR arrangement in inside.

Yeah, that is the problem with optical wah's. There are a few ways around this if you were building your own, but probably too much of a PITA for something like this. I was figuring an EB volume pedal with a switch on the pedal itself feeding into an external box with the wah inside. Lots of knobs on the outside for changing resistor/cap/Q values.

Doesn't help Jeffrey though :(
