Well i'm a big Paisley fan, i love his tele twangin. 5th Gear is the name of the CD. Pretty much the same formula as his previous albums, which is fine for me as i love them too! If you check out any of the songs, listen to Mr Policeman first- GREAT country chops goin on there, man can he play when he wants.

PS I loved that track he did with Albert Lee a few AL cd's ago.

Brad Paisley is great, haven't heard his new cd yet but will get it for sure.

I love this song: 'two feet of topsoil'. I don't remember which album it's from though.

Oh yes, very fast indeed:eek: Very hard to keep playing in time. All those guys you mentioned are really good in playing fast but also in time.

Rob, are you into the 'hybrid picking' style too? Like Albert plays, with pick and fingers? I try to but it ain't easy to do. You can do these fast runs followed by banjorolls etc. Very cool:D

pretty much 100% of my playing is hybrid, ive always done it. I cant pick fast like a shredder, but hybrid picking sounds better to my ears anyway! When i began learning Albert stuff, and Chet Atkins too, i really got the hybrid thing happening. Awesome technique!

would love to have a b bender, i almost bought a custom tele a few years ago that had one. but i figured i wouldnt use it that much, i was probably right.

i read an online interview with Albert Lee where he said his ultimate guitar would have trem, piezo and b bender.

I met Brad twice- he's signed my homemade tele and my pink paisley reissue.
A nice guy and great player.
I saw him 4 days after 9/11 and he was playing an Axis Sport for a couple of tunes. I WISH I snapped some PICS!!!!
