Brand New 5hh B string saddle issue

I have had this bass for a little under a month, but i keep having issues with the saddle dropping while im playing. i have switched out multiple saddles at this point all with the same issue. it happens whenever i slap, double thumb, drop to a, or even just playing aggressively fingerstyle. any ideas why this would be happening even after multiple saddles? I have 8 other basses and have never had this issue. i have a 4 string mm for about two years that has never needed even a minor saddle adjustment. this one needs it pretty much every time i play. i am about to just send it back.

Very odd. Email Customer Service for advice or try some "Loctite" to keep the saddle screws in place. There's different strengths so you'd have to be careful in not locking the screws permanently.

How long are the grub screws for that saddle? If they are too short, there isn't much to grab. It sounds like your playing may be lifting the string and saddle up.

Is it always one side that ends up lower?

the screws on the saddles are standard size i suppose. the replacement saddles are directly from MM. Yes, it is always the same side. the A string is now doing the same thing again. i though replacing that one would work, but apparently not. seems like such a silly issue to have.

i have been sent new saddles already from mm. Loctite and nail polish aren't really options for me. maybe if the bass was older, but its brand new.

personally I’d put a dab of super glue on the thread, it will hold it locked and need a good crack to get it moving again but it will move again in the future.
Or as mentioned look for a light thread lock but be careful with it (super glue is my favourite)

Or if the saddles are raised up quite high a neck shim could be in order to lower them, putting less pressure on them so they won’t move as much
