Well it's sounds good can't wait till it's finishedSteveB said:Colin,
Used my trusty Fostex VF-16. It's a dedicated 16-track digital multitracker that records to hard drive. That's it! No outboard gear. Just my guitars, drum machine, RP-2000 pedalboard, and the Roland Micro-cube (just as an experiment more than anything).
SteveB said:blackspy: don't worry about me.. I'm pretty thick-skinned and I certainly can take a joke since I like to dish it out as well! The guitar is not the JP's piezo, but rather 4 tracks:
* a stereo recording of the JP6 with the middle pickup position, played through my Digitech RP-2000 and recorded direct.
* a mono recording of my Y2D played through the Digitech RP-2000 and recorded direct.
* a mono recording of the Y2D played through a Roland Micro-cube and recorded direct.
The main sound is the JP6 stereo recording, with just some subtle blending of the Y2D tracks to add some barely perceptible 'texture'.

It's pretty cool some of the nice tones you can get by layering like that though.
