Just thought I'd use my first post to send a big "HI" out to everyone. I just purchased a second hand black stingray with matching headstock and pickguard (my first MM after assuming I'd never be able to afford one) last weekend and I can't stop thinking about/looking at/playing her. Having a few problems with set-up issues, despite having read through all 88 pages of posts for the past 3 days (skiving at work I am!) but I will ask you about those in the near future, once I've done some more research on 'the net'. Lots of good info here, you've already answered a lot of my maintenance questions, now if only I can find some lemon/gunstock oil here in the UK! Welcome Dave,

I sourced my Lemon Oil (not that I have actually botherd using it yet!) from ebay. There is a company thats supplies them and it was only a fiver or something. Just search on ebay and you will find it.

I also have a black SR4, but no matching headstock.

welcome aboard. Lemon oil should not be too hard to find.You might look in a grocery store or any hardware store.People put it on furniture.
