Help! Bridge pivots replacement: what would you do?

Thanks to the super EBMM Customer Service I was able to contact the Italian MM distributor and find out how to get spare parts


Now the problem on my Luke is the bridge studs (pivots) are somewhat consumed by both age and quite heavy use The bridge itself looks ok, as it still has quite sharp edges. Given the different prices of spare parts:

- 2 pivots about $12
- 1 bridge (incl. pivots) about $245

What would you do? Replace just the pivots with roughly 10 bucks or replace the whole bridge also considering guitar age (11 years)?

I would replace the pivots. Set her up and play her for a while, then if that doesn't do the trick (which it should), then I would spend the $$$ and replace the bridge as well... or you could always block the trem and it would cost you zero.

Replace the pivots and you will be fine.
I have done this on many guitars at the shop.

Thanks guys.
I have considered blocking then bridge, but I use it quite often and so it is not an option. I'l try replacing the pivots first, and see if this solves my tuning issues
