i recently playd a show, and my signal kept cutting out, i singled out everything and determined it was the amp... any ideas on whats wrong with it?

if its a tube amp, check your tubes. if its a solid state make shure you had the right impedance load from your speakers. if you didnt you probably messed up your power amp. if you did check all your fuses and make sure everything is conected and snug in the amp. if all that is okay, take it to a tech.

cripes, i borrowd a 15 inch cab to make my rig a full stack, and i just looked on the ampeg site, and it was 4 olmhs...do u think my amp is alright?

i went to 2 ohlms when my amp can only handel 4... i'm just wondering is its peramenitly messed up, or if its fine

hmm, well its possible it could have simply overheated. maybe try using it again with only a 4 ohm load to see if thats what happens. if it doesnt work you probably broke something.

Probably some kind of protection feature from your head to prevent it from blowing up. Otherwise, I'd imagine there would be some smoke from the amp overheating.
