I sense a measure of indecision on the owners part :p

To fret or not to fret - that is the question. I don't think this is the answer, however.

Have a freted if you like 'em, same for fretless.

I like both.

My intonation sucks on the higher notes though... I could do with the frets that guy left out. Not sure how that would work, the fretboard would have to be raised for the fretless part.

So do I, but not on the SAME fingerboard.

I was watching a guy play a hybred last year and it did not suck.They guy had the chops to burn and made the best of both worlds.Nailed the groove when it was groovin and stood up to the plate when it was time to solo. Can be a great instrument in the right hands period.
