howdy. i've started thinking about building an electric guitar, and so far i'm thinking a Silhouette or Steve Morse or Axis kind of thing.
if anyone has experience building electrics please share your experiences and give opinions.
I always have tuning problems because i strum a little hard, so i gotta change my technique i guess =) but i want to get the best combo of tuners, setup, etc. and of course SUSTAIN is the big issue. i'm going to start looking for wood soon, probably basswood/maple body and maple or mahogany neck.
