Hi everyone,

It's my first post here on the forum, but I've reading your posts for a while now, being a big fan of EBMM.
For my first message I have a question : does anyone know how long it takes to build a Majesty (7strings, artisan, not sure it makes a big difference) ?

I'll explain : I have ordered mine beginning of February from the UK, and the seller said to me today that the guitar was 10 days from being "complete". This makes for a total of about 20 weeks between the call (order) and the completion.

Do you think it is roughly what it takes to build such a guitar ? I have reasons to believe that the guy may not be 100% honest with me.

Thanks in advance !

Many thanks to you ! So it does seem to take the amount of time I was told.. that's reassuring.

By any chance, do you know if it the average time required to make such a guitar ? Of course it depends on the brand and the series, but if I were to guess I'd say it's longer than average.

Thanks again !

The Majesty models have typically taken a few extra months to manufacture when compared to the bolt-on neck MusicMan instruments- there is a high demand for them and they require special equipment because of the neck-through construction, which results in longer build & delivery times.

I ordered mine (polar noir 6 string version) in Canada in February. I contacted Music Man support directly 2 weeks ago to have an updated ETA and they said 7 months from the order and that they were on track with their schedule... so expected in september!

Just answered this same question in another post; I ordered an Arctic Dream late Feb and it just arrived so about 3.5 months.

My Majesty Artisan took about 4 months, December 2015-April 2016.

Whatever time it takes for yours, it will be worth the wait. You will not be disappointed. Best guitar ever manufactured!

Once it arrives, be sure to post pics! :)

Yep! lucky me. I just picked it up this morning and I've been plugged into my Axe-FX II XL+ for a couple of hours already. I'me very impressed by the range of tones. Tiny, weenie guitar; my usual plaything is an 87 Les Paul Custom that must weigh twice as much as the Majesty.
