Here’s the final track from the debut Hectic Watermelon album, The Great American Road Trip which featuring Jerry Goodman on electric violin. He rips my head off with his solo at the end of this one! I’m making this a download for a while to promote our show at the San Diego Independent Music Festival this Saturday. For those of you in San Diego, we are the second to last band of 70 to play. We hit it at 9:30 for a short :45 minute set. The hell with the gear, I’m really excited to debut some cool new stage apparel!

I have this scored out if anyone would like to see little black dot thingies. Just let me know.

No, that's just my trust Kurzweil keyboard, but has a great keys module with tons of killer EPs and stuff.

Yes, that is a San Diego city bus I recorded along with some other auto sounds for the "Road Trip" theme of the album.

Last night at our gig at the San Diego Independent Music Festival (drizzling all over us and the crowd and the gear - by the way), I tried a more B3 patch on my old trusty and heavy K2500R that I begrudgingly drag around for this tune, and Cruise Control. It sounded awesome! Thanks or the nudge.
