I changed the strings on my Sub1, and I noticed that the high E saddle on my Sub1 is causing the string to buzz. It's never happened before, and if I press the saddle with my finger, it stops for a couple notes but then starts again. I'm guessing I just need some kind of lubricant. Can I easily fix this? I'm going to change the string again to see if that's the problem. Any suggestions on what the problem is?

Thanks

I always take a pencil and "write" all over each saddle and on the nut where the strings rest. It's a very, very, very cheap way to get graphite under the strings. Usually works for me. If you happen to clean a neck with wonder wipes, note that it could wash away the graphite and you need to re-do it (wonder how I know that?).

I get that too once in awhile, usually on a B string. No biggie, it's just one of the adjustment legs have moved a tad, leaving a small gab under it, which vibrates when the string is vibrating. A tiny adjustment to move the adjustment screw in contact with the body should solve it, or at least it did on mine.

Interesting. Never thought of that! That is most likely what the problem is, DaPatrooch!
