do you know if there is a differnce between amp carpet and regular carpet?

If by regular carpet you mean carpet for your floor, yes. Huge difference. Look for cabinet carpet or speaker carpet. Radio Shack used to sell it. Some of the car audio places will carry it for guys doing custom boxes for their pimped rides. It's got a tight weave and not much of a backing. Makes it very durable but easy to install on the cabinet. Gotta be able to bend it around the box corners and such.

The description for this stuff says you can apply it with a spray adhesive or latex contact cement. Maybe easier than the staple gun route.

I'd use 3M spray adhesive to hold it in place, and then staple it. That's how I did my pedalboard and it is holding up very well.

Mr. Calloway has been dead for quite some time. Any recovery would be considered a miracle and should be documented for the nearest medical journal.
