I"ve been admiring the Cab Pearl color on everything since I first saw it...especially on Slingy's Super Sport with the rosewood neck.

With BP's recent announcement that Cabernet Pearl was going to be history..I just couldn't let it go by without getting my Cab Pearl axe....So I made it happen!

I just got off the phone with Nick and ordered a Cabernet Pearl Axis Super Sport with a rosewood board / hard tail / matching headstock!

Pete informed me that I should receive it by mid to late December....now that will be an awesome Christmas!

Thank you so much Nick and Pete for your time and assistance!

I can't wait!!!!

Congrats, Donnie! NGD is always a good feeling. Cab Pearl is a cool color, too. I think I've only ever seen it on one Axis and thought it looked good. You're gonna love that one!

I love that colour.
I'm sad to see it go.
Had I known a year ago what would be happening, I would have loved to have ordered a Cab Pearl AL with a rosewood neck!

Congrats on your order.

Here's a little picture to help tie you over. I may have the only one? I also cant help but think that if there was a different color binding option, like white instead of cream, then some of the silver/grays would look fantastic on the Axis.

Thanks Slingy...it's going to be a hard enough wait as it is. :D

This particular finish seems to have a slightly higher sparkle factor than other pearl finishes...what do you think?
