to be brutally honest, the 20th silo isnt getting loads of love. My silo special is my number one go-to axe, versatility to the max, just a great understated guitar. 2nd would be the Luke. the rest just get the left over time. the last few days i've been trying to bond with the Y2D, its the least favourite so far, but ive made great strides with it now, and i like it a lot more. its hard to work out sometimes what a guitar can do for you, especially an artist model axe, which is suited so much to the artist!!

This is what I've found so far. I keep finding myself drifting back to a JP pretty quickly whenever I pick the Y2D up.

I think you need to force yourself out of the comfort zone sometimes to really find out whether a new geetar is going to ultimately suit you or not.

Makes a lot of sense, Rob. I thought the Y2D would take some time to bond with, but once dialed in could pull off what the others can't. Love to get my hands on a 20th to try for myself. But like yourself, I think my Silo's would still get most of my attention. Never owned a more versitile guitar. If I started from scratch, designing "my own" guitar, it would wind up a Sil Sp. Still, that 20th has me itchin'.

Rob, I guess it just depends what ya like. I’ve never been one for fancy, pretty tops do little for me. To be honest, I’m even a little embarrassed by how beautiful my autumn burst looks. lol
