.. and I hope it has an on/off switch something akin to Morley's setup rather than the Dunlop approach. I hate having to 'wah' softly for fear of turning the damned thing off!

I've owned an original Cry Baby (before Dunlop had multiple models) two times, and I got rid of each one. I just keep clicking the silly switch when I don't want to.

I don't wah enough to put a lot of effort into my technique. :p

Steve how hard do you hit it? I find the opposite some times I don't hit it hard enough. Be interesting to see what comes out though.

Colin,

I get that, too! There's just no telling what will happen when I step on a Dunlop-type wah!

Sometimes I turn it on inadvertetly, sometimes off! I just can't get the 'feel' of those darn things!

How many times have we asked and not received an answer? If the project was scraped we'd of heard by now ...we're being set up for a suprise of substantial proportions. At least that's what I'm hoping:)

Hello Folks

If you want to see (and hear !) a nice Wah, try the Trinity (http://www.tri-nity.com/).
It is made by a french guy (jacques) who is a stompbox wizard.
The controler of the Wah is quite specific.
I have one and it works really very well.
If you try one, you will buy one ... You are warned :)

I have been waiting for the EB wah for years. My advice to y'all? Don't hold your breath. There is soo much other stuff going on right now. If it is meant to be, it will happen. This is not an official company post, just one reporters opinion.:p

I really like the morley bad horsie's activation: step on it and it's on. take your foot off and it's bypassed.

the dunlop system is frustrating.

With that system can you cock it half way to get that real nasal sound?

I use a Budda Bud Wah and I love it - if EB come out with a Wah of their own, it'd have to be something special to make me switch; I've had a Morely, a Crybaby, and even a Fulltone in the house and always go back to the Bud - it just works for me...

Teese makes great wahs. I recently had him put a new switch in, clean the pot, and voice it to work better with humbucking pickups. All for $25 whick included shipping back to me($10). Try that with any other manufacturer.. Not gonna happen... They are a little more $$, but worth it in everyway.

Lots of DIY projects out there. I re-did my Crybaby and it made a HUGE difference. A few bucks in parts saves a lot on boutique pedals.

What did you do Beej? I'm thinking about doing something like that first before I get another wah.
