calling all luke players

Welcome Dan, I am new too. I too would love to shake the hand of the person that scratched my Luke. I had never even cosidered buying one, but I am a HUGE Petrucci fan, and would have most likely bought his Sig model with the Piezo in the next year or so.

but, what a deal.

Last night I picked up my Ibanez RG, which...up until a few days ago I had thought posessed the sweetest neck I had ever held on a guitar, and it was almost embarassing. its wide thin neck feels like a plank of wood now compared to the Luke. I actually thought about selling, but I wont because of the memories.

I may end up putting some EMG's in it though...you know, it could make a great backup guitar! until I DO get the Petrucci

a bit offtopic, but I traded an Ibanez Paul Gilbert PGM600(? the white one with f-holes...) for an Axis, and the difference is just unbelievable! Ibanez necks make me laugh nowadays....

at some point, i'd like to pick up one of the Floyd Rose Lukes', that pearl finish just rules, in red or blue, i'm not fussy...

i'm so jealous of the finishes some of you guys have! blue dawn and the burnt apple sparkleburst are probably my two favourite colour schemes on the planet. i bet they make my black one look so ordinary.... you lucky tykes!
