That already happened. We recorded the CD/DVD at the end of Jan. but it comes out in August.I've seen the preliminary screening and it looks pretty good except the "lighting" was bad so not too many band close-ups... oh well... :p It sounds great though, some really good new tunes on it. I am going to be doing some dates with him the first week of July then off to Soulfest with Chris Janzen and David Ruis at the end of July.
Do you do many of Brian's tunes? It's always cool to see how far out of the Vineyard his stuff has gone, he's one of the nicest guys you could meet, and a good 'boss' too.:)

Hey our church is cool that way. A couple of weeks ago the Youth band started out with an acappella version of the Doxology, then broke into a screaming lead guitar followed by Switchfoot's "Meant to Live". Can't wait to hear Fortress 144, and since it's by Brian D I'll guarantee our worship pastor will love it!:p

Hrm... You guys are really lucky. The guys at our church are very minimalistic and tend to like the hymnal stuff better. It's no fun for a bassist who taught himself bass by listening to old Red Hot Chili Peppers albums! :p

Brother you are always welcome in our church (unless you're trying to take my job!:p ). We are very blessed with a pastor who knows how to reach the lost. Over the last 6 years, regular attendance has gone from 60 to nearly 400 per week.:D

Cool! You guys might very well be doing Fortress then, it's definitely not "Meant to Live" but it's way more "cranked" up than any other of Brian's songs.:)
