Calling Lord Bongo, the Bovinehost

Chuck:

How can you go wrong?

You really can't. But after playing and/or owning all the combinations (minus the piezos - bassmonkee's the expert on those), I still say my favorite is my first - the dual humbucker configuration.

There is nothing this bass won't do.

It's the Swiss Army Bass. It slices, it dices, it makes julienne fries, now how much would you pay?

Hey Oddjob

You still digging the single pup config.

Thinking about getting a second bongo, a 5'er, but unsure of the pup config. I'm looking for something a little less clean than me SH. Maybe the HH is in my future but that damn single H is so elegant in its simplicity.

The single H is extremely good in a rock and roll setting and really nice in its point and shoot simplicity.

I may not be getting enough use out of mine to justify keeping it....I have to think about it a while longer, though.

My single hummer is a fiver:

Gawd, that's beautiful! Call me if you decide to part company, hokay?

Heh--I was actually working on a scheme to get Bovine to sell it to me, but I'd rather you take it. That will force me to do what I really need to do, which is get a new bass head.

It certainly is a stunning instrument, isn't it?
