Dont get me wrong bro ...i wouldnt drop that coin on 1 amp either but ....their must be some type of magic to em...or maybe they suck haaha who knows for sure . i have only seen 1 dumble ...i gots pics and touched it/looked at it.. ,but i never got to try it out ....it was at BOUTIQUE TONE in Montreal Canada.....and he goops the inerds so you cant see whats goin on .....i guess i was looking to hear it from Luke ...but if you say it came from a live interview ...thats cool as well...

Tell me i'm ignorant and an idiot, but....

There's no magic involved in a dumble or any other amp. In fact, there's not even any magic in any of our beloved Musicmans (Musicmen?). There is also no such thing as a magic tubescreamer. Or a magic 50's guitar. Honest!

We might percieve something to be "magic", or perhaps the money spent on gear makes us think something sounds better than it really is, but when it comes down to it a dumble is just some wood, a speaker, some tubes, caps, resistors etc.

However, I'm sure a Dumble is a really well designed amp, just how a Musicman is a well designed guitar.

Back to the point of the thread- there must be an interesting story behind that amp. And we want to hear it!!

I call the Magic ..."MOJO" ....I am 39 years old and have been playing almost 30 years ...and yes my friend some gear is MAGIC...it has a certain MOJO about it that makes it stand out from the rest ....My silver Sparkle AL is like that ....It has a tone that is intoxicating and i have tried several others that just dont have it ....and others will say the same thing ...Even my BFR AL isnt the guitar my Silver sparkle AL is ....ahhhh Magic ...Mojo ....whatever you call it ....but ITS REAL!!!

Actually my Daughter Quite liked it ...but shes 14.....and i guess if you dont beleive in Magic or Mojo ...your gonna Crap on Santa next ?
