On the Pre-EB Basses, the words "MUSIC MAN" are, normally, painted in gold. There are some that are transparent. I've seen them but paid no attention to the year/s they were used. They don't appear to be from 1976 to 1980....unless MM decided to throw one in here and there...wouldn't be surprised!!!!
Can you, or anyone shed light on the issue????
