Anyone able to help me come up with a suitable ebay price for this, as i'm completely clueless about it (i didn't buy it):

2002 StingRay 5
Rosewood neck
Burnt Apple with matching headstock/ black shell pickguard
3 band EQ w/ piezo

Gigged quite a bit, but it's only got one small ding by the input jack. Could do with a clean though, but still.

Help would be appreciated!

Thanks..

I've bought and sold a boatload of SR5s and so I might be a little bit spoiled as far as price goes, but if you're asking me, and I am a certified gear whore, I have the plaque and everything, I would give you up to $850 for it.

And of course if I were in the market and I didn't know you or you had only a couple of feedbacks dealing with trading cards, I would be inclined to go no more than $750.

Now that's from a BUYER's perspective. If it's a great bass, great player....and I were offing it for one reason or another, I'd try to get everything I could out of it.

But between friends, I'd ask $850.

YMMV, etc.

BTW, yes, there are some features on that bass that would warrant a higher price when it sold new, but I don't find the used market gives a damn about stuff like piezos and matching headstocks.
