Soooooooooooooooo, can anyone tell me if there is anything I can quickly get hold of here in the UK that'll do the same job? Orrrrrr, preferably can anyone tell me where I may able to purchase an EB Splitter.

I had to order mine, and YES I believe you need the stereo cable, which I ordered at the same time from EB (through a dealer).

The splitter has to have something to split. The stereo cable takes two separate signals from your guitar which are then separated by the splitter into two mono signals. If you send a regular mono cable through it, either the piezo won't be available, OR both the piezo and magnetic pickups will be available through the same amp (just like what you can do now without the splitter), depending on which guitar output jack you use.

I hope that helps.

Order the 6190 Splitter Box from any Ernie Ball (not necessarily MusicMan) dealer.

You will need one stereo cable and two mono cables.

Stereo goes from guitar to center jack on splitter box.

One mono goes from the piezo jack on the splitter (left side) to your piezo amplification. (In my setup, this goes to an adjacent DI box, then to the PA.)

The other mono goes from the magnetic jack on the splitter (right side) to your guitar rig.

I keep the 6190 and a whirldwind DI box (with ground lift switch) right on my pedalboard.
