You can place an order through a dealer..not directly from the factory.

Give Pete DuBaldo a shout...he's a regular here on the forum and he will be getting my business in the future.

Here is the DuBaldo Music contact info page:Contact Us

1rd- I've tried calling Dubaldo's three times (both locations) and Pete's never been there and none of the employees will even give me a price or tell me what's in stock- apparently for some reason only Pete can do that.

Bass Central on the other hand has been very easy to work with and seems to have more in stock anyway. I'm not sure how much of a defense they'll get here since they don't seem to have a presence on the board...

If you want to order one through guitar center, you can call my store and ask for me.

I would try emailing him. I am pricing a new ball with Pete and have found that email is the best way to get a hold of him. Just tell him who you are and that you were referred by the forum and he will take care of you.

Yes, absolutely go with the E-mail.

Being in California, and dealing with the 3 hour time discrepancy, combined with the fact that Pete runs between two stores and a band makes for catching him quite a task. I've always had the best results with E-Mail, and if I did need to get a hold of him on the phone, an E-Mail inquiring at what time specifically that he'll be available.

Pete's your man!

The guitars are made to order. When I bought my Morse, I had to wait 5 months ... but the EBMM guitars are worth the wait !!!
If you have a specific idea, that's the best way. There are so many options !

When you call DuBaldo's, ask when Pete will be available.....or ask for him to call you back.....or email. He teaches as well as selling guitars and taking pictures for the forum and stuff. I hear he eats a mean pizza too.

Prosthetic, I'm not sure why you have had trouble getting a hold of me; I'm at the DuBaldo location around 8 hours a day (I'm only at Beller's on Wed afternoon). Maybe you are calling in the evening? Along with our store hours, our entire inventory is listed on our website along with which location each piece is at. I try and keep a current price list for our EB inventory next to the phone at both stores, but we have been so busy lately that it has been tough to keep up-to-the-minute accurate.

The easiest way to contact me directly (when the store isn't open) is through email, it's in my signature below!

+1.

Pete has always returned my emails and phone calls promptly, and has always been happy to take as much time discussing things as I needed, whether through multiple emails, on the phone, or in person.

+2!

Pete is super helpful and is extremely easy to get a hold of. It must be the East Coast West Coast thing Pete. I thought that it was over with the passing of Biggie and Tupac but, I guess that it's back. The 3 hour time difference might be a factor too:D

Pete has been nothing but a great guy to interact with here on the forums. But i can wholeheartedly reccomend basscentral.Beaver and the guys there have bent over backwards to get me anything i have ever wanted.. And fast. You can't go wrong either way though.

Dubaldo's gives that "family" vibe even when you are 200 miles away. I have been looking for years for a small dealer that actually takes care of its customers. he always goes above and beyond for me.

I stopped by his shop on Saturday on my way to Salem, Massachusetts and he made sure to have a left handed 7 string ready for me to play that he normally keeps in his other store across town. he loves guitars and music and loves to share his stories and just talk shop. You just don't get that anymore. Especially with the bigger chain stores.

+1 for Pete DuBaldo. He'll take care of you. And I agree e-mail is the best way to get in touch with him. My last 2, and upcoming DD2 are from Pete.

I bought 2 of my balls from Drum City Guitarland before I knew who Pete was. Jason is a good guy and will do right by you (even though they don't know how to take pictures).

The guys at Bass Central seem to have it together, also (and they take good pictures). I e-mailed back and forth with Grasshopper a couple times, but never actually bought from them.

And guys, don't forget Brandt at TPB/TPG. He spends most of his time on the dark side, but seems to have a good rapport with the evil bass players :D

Pete is a great guy to deal with. I've got a guitar on order with him, and I'm going to order a 25th through him before the order window closes.

I usually e-mail him for a quote. When I'm ready to place my order, I just call up either DuBaldo Music Center or their other store, Beller's, and I talk to Nick DuBaldo who is a great guy too.

Personally, I'd call them all and see who gives you the best deal. And while we are not supposed to talk about pricing, I'll just say that Pete's deposit was the best for me at the time.

Another nod for Pete. I'm a West-sider too, and found email the best way to get a hold of him. My second Ball is on order through him, since the first purchase from him went well.

Well kinda back on the original topic, like others said early, have to buy from a dealer no direct sales, if you want to order something specific thats not in a dealers stock then contact one of the many dealers out there, there are lots of them.

now onto the secondary topic, dealers themselves:D

+ whatever number for Pete D., I have bought many from him, all good transactions and great pricing, plus he is the dealer on the forum the most and is always willing to help me, email is the best way to get ahold of him initially, just find out where and when he is going to be avialable or leave him a number to contact you, works like a charm.

There are alot of other good dealers as well, Beaver at Bass Central is great, not on the forum much but my couple dealings with him have been good and he too will work with you.

The Perfect guitar is good to work with as well, Brandt is on the dark side of the forum often and Rob pops in on our side once in awhile, and james is great to deal with.

And I like my GC Robbie is cool and takes care of me and always lets me know when something cool comes in.

So lots of choices out there to get that EBMM.

Comes down to pricing and relationships for me.
