We never tooled up for a white classic pickup.

Also, the pickup covers are glued onto the pickup.

So they aren't like the American made Single H Stingrays that you can swap out the pup cover?

yes you are correct. The SBMM bass pickup covers are glued onto the bobbins, so it's not a simple pull and drop new covers on.
