Can I send my Sterling H back to Ernieball to have the extra "S" installed ?

I really want an HS

Can i Send my bass back to get the extra J pickup near the neck installed?

The answer to that question is definitely "No". Save a couple hundred bucks, sell your H and buy a used HS.

I don't think EBMM will do this. Buy an HS or have a local luthier do the work for you.

as mynan said, this is not possible.

even with a warranty repair: if an instrument goes to MM it will be returned with the original build specs.

The reason we cant do it is because our production model is set up to make them from scratch...if we offered that service it would complicate the building process.

take the advice, sell the h and buy a hs for the money you get. there is even a for sale thread up in the sticky department. perhaps announcing a trade could be an option as well?
