hello and welcome to the forum :)

if your fingers can stand it the guitar normally doesnt have any problems with it either :)
only problems can be floating tremolos where the increased tension require more opposite force by the springs on the back.
for a hardtail its much easier...

stevie ray did at one point in time use 0.13 dropped a halftone.. i have tried a guitar stringed like that and man it is tough on the fingers!

I use 'Not Even Slinky' on my strat in standard with a wound G and have no trouble at all. IMO single coil pickups love heavy strings and it feels great. Just don't try and bend the wound strings haha.

But yeah it's fine. If you've never used anything so heavy, you'll find they can stick at the nut making tuning a bit of a pain and it'll pull your neck forward a little, which you need to compensate for by tightening the truss rod. If you don't want to file your nut out, then once you've put the string on and stretched it out, pull the string up below the nut (on the business end) and always tune up to the note you want to tune to. If you go sharp, loosen off a touch and pull the string again then retune.
