10's are fine. You may need to make some minor adjustments to the truss rod and/or tremolo tension, but nothing major.

Denis, you can use whatever string gauge you want. Just bare in mind that you will need to adjust tension, truss rod and intonation. As someone said before - it's really minor, especially when we're talking Music Man - the easiest guitar to adjust on planet Earth :)

I personally use 9-42 to standard tuning. When I lower it I go one step forward, for example D standard is 10-46. If I went to C standard I would use 11-48 or 11-54. I like a little floppy feeling plus bedning is a charm!
