So, over the past year or so I've been on these forums, I've seen these truly "torturous" guitars posted online. I guess my question is, are these just ideas that never came to fruition or are they just not yet available? Just curious.

Here are the babies I've loved, but never even got to know (sounds like a song). :(

THIS is the granddaddy of all torture. Seriously, I WILL trade my spleen for this guitar. No questions asked.

This with Matching headstock would rule too.

Last, but not least. . .I've never even played an AL and I want this. :)

FEEL FREE to post your own favorite past torturous guitars here. It's a good release, almost therapeutic.

I love how the forum is so open. And how BP keeps us in touch with whats going on at that crazy factory at SLO. I just let him grab the wheel and I sit back and enjoy the ride.
His posts are always entertaing informative and most of the time torturous.

Listen this is an example where no good deed goes unpunished. Some of those guitars just arent up to snuff. I still think that they should be seen and not be a big secret. I also thinkthat posters that dont like that I show them should just go on to the next thread but it is funny as they would prefer that none of you see them

R and D is funny you never know what will come of it. I can guarantee no amtter how good you are you dont bat 1000%

Torture or not. I love that BP and crew show us this stuff.
If anything it's a glimpse of their potential future, and it's stuff we can dream about. :)

I don't have the pic, but the pinkburst BFR AL is my favorite!

No, no, no. That's not what I meant. I just wanted to find out if they were models to come out OR actual R&D. It was unclear in my what they actually were. Now I know. Keep showing them please, BP. They are all gorgeous guitars, even if it is torture. :D

So, I guess this means I have to keep my spleen? :(

To BP and all guys at the factory, keep up the good work!

Hey, I posted a week or so back about how EBMMs have consistent mojo...here's a clue, the gent painting the guitars is rocking out on the headphones while he works! :D

EBMM has the best burst...never a "clownburst" in the bunch, to quote a forumite.
