Hi Musicmen (and women!)!
Eric from The Arts here. Our Wall of Balls changes all the time (and they're really not up that high), because we Canadians are snapping them up and playing them! Musicman Fever runs high at our shop because so many of the staff own and play them, and it's so easy and appropriate to recommend something you know and love. We actually warn our first-time EBMM customers that their first Musicman will just whet their appetite for a second (or third or...)! On a more personal note, Musicman is one of the two production guitar companies in the world I would and have bought three guitars from sight unseen. 171 Career Electrics later I think that is high praise indeed.
There is a major downside to working in a place with The Wall...it keeps me constantly in debt. The only upside to this is that Musicmans are so darned affordable I can fuel my G.A.S. That Radiance Red "Luke" you see in the picture is not calling to me, it's screaming! (Actually, both Lukes we have in right now are stellar examples of lightweight workingmans guitars). I find it hard to even imagine how much more awesome BFR Lukes are going to be when they arrive.
Keep 'em coming Big Poppa!-E.

I don't suffer from G.A.S.; I enjoy it.

Hey Spud, the Great White Northerners snapped-up those Alberts (being the discerning players they are!). Musicmans don't last long on The Wall. My own personal Albert Limited you so graciously hosted the photos of is still getting the lions share of playing time, as it just plain WORKS with my main band. More and more pro players come up to me and rave about the great tones I get out of it. Of course, in my total inability to leave well enough alone, I've got some double-secret pickups for it in the pipes. Not soon, but I'll let ya'll know when the time comes.
On a related topic, one of the big reasons we Canadians are so hot on EBMM is the efforts of our rep company MOL, and in particular Glen Booth. I've been dealing with reps in the biz for too many years, and was one myself for PRS, Soldano, etc. Glen is the guy! I love dealing with guys who play the stuff they sell, and as Musicman is all about "players guitars", it's great having a player repping them. All the stories you've heard about outstanding Musicman customer service are true in spades, and it's because they have some really committed people working with them. Kudos guys!-Eric

Hey Eric - nice one.
I thought as much about the AL's.

There was a black second hand one in a store in Cardiff - a guy had traded it in.
I was in the store on Saturday and it seems like the guy who traded it, missed it soooo much he went in and bought it back !!!

Let us know when the Leal has been pimped and send me photos if you want, and I'll host them - it's no sweat.

I may be in the States in August I think the nearest I 'll get to you is Chicago !!! Shame!!:(
