I asked this question to an EB customer service person before, and was told that all Ernie Ball guitars are to sell with a hard shell case, as they are shipped to the dealer. I used that information to get the case with my Axis for free. The salesman was attempting to sell it seperately for $150, and sell the tools (hex wrenches) seperate too, $15. As I understand it, your guitar should come with a case, tools included. If this is a used guitar with no case, well, I don't know, I'm sure ebay would have something you could use.

i know the axis *floyd rose* ships with the hardcase and tools and is supposed to be included with the guitar. for the axis super sports i have always seen them shipping with a gigbag. *this makes no sense* thats how i got mine as well. stupid dealers htat are trying to sell them serperatly should be shot. thats lame when they pull that kind of stuff. you can pick up the musicman molded hardcase they ship their guitars in from www.musiciansfriend.com just type in "musicman case" and you'l find her. i think their selling for $109 hope that helps.

Thanks for the info on musicians friend. Does seem rather stupid supplying a gigbag when you're paying over a thousand bucks for a guitar.

Thanks Again,
