When someone buys a stingray, do these come with a certificate of authenticity? If yes, are there details such as the date of purchase etc.. ? I want to make sure that the bass I'm looking at was owned by just one owner.

thanks,
james

that could only be the warranty info from the original PURCHASER to ernie ball co.
sometimes it gets filled out & registered....& sometimes not......but is surely its confidential info not released from ernie ball co.
what's really important is how's the bass look & feel in your hands.

The only way you could be certain of that would be if he has the original reciept with his name on it. But I certainly agree with Tommy too. Get it in your hands and play it.

Why would it make any difference whether or not you are buying it from the original owner. Once you buy it it's used whether you're the first second owner or someone else was.

Ditto Tommy & Mobay...

One owner? Seven?

When you get it in your hands you'll know if it's right for you - I don't think there's any impact to the value based upon the number of owners.

Plus like 1 million.

You'll know.

If it's in good enough nick to buy, I wouldn't care if half the world had owned it. That's just me though and I can't speak for us all.....
