Hello- Anyone with an Axis Sport (HH, vintage tem) purchase and have luck with a pickguard ordered from Chandler? I'm looking for a more retro, utilitarian look. Also, any thoughts on the Dimarzio Eric Johnson neck and bridge pickups?

I purchased one from them for my Super Sport MM90 and they did a great job. Perfect fit. I did not want to drill holes in the body, so I used a couple of small pieces of carpet (two sided) tape. I have had no problems with it staying on.

I'd be interested in your thoughts on those pickups if you decide to get them.

Colin,

Here is a picture. My camera is not the best, so the photo does not do justice to the guitar.

well being that chandler makes ebmm's original pickguards..............u stand a relatively good chance their gonna get it right...........:D

I agree!! When I ordered the one for my MM90, Chanlder said they had never made one for this guitar. The person that took my order said he would contact ebmm and get the exact specification, which they did and it was a perfect fit.

Chandler pickguards--thank you, all

I appreciate the advice and pics. I will definitely order one from Chandler and let everyone know how it went. As for the Eric Johnson Dimarzios, that will have to be researched a bit more. A Gretsch-like sound from the neck pickup would be nice. These also come nickel covered as an option.
