Change from Regular Slinky to RPS

hey guys, I was thinking about changing my Regular Slinky set to a RPS set, what are the differences between these sets of strings?

The RPS have reinforced plain steel strings (hence the name) which are stronger, you would generally use them if you have a tremelo that does not require the ball ends to be cut off, and if you have an issue with the normal strings breaking/untwisting at the ball end.
 
The string itself is the same. The only difference is in the winding around the ball end on the plain strings. If you want a more durable string with the same tone and feel, try the newer Titanium Coated set. It's somewhat more expensive but it lasts much more, highly recommended if you don't like changing your strings a lot.
 
how did you know that I dont like to change strings a lot, heheh, nice I will try them for sure.

my guitar has FR on it, still usable? srry noob question, ive not been using EB strings for quite some time
 
If it's a Floyd, you have to cut the ball ends off anyway, so there is no point to buying the RPS version, just get the normal (or coated) strings.

some guy told me that some people, including steve vai, put the ball end thru the tuners, how about that?
