Changing pickguards

I'm about to swap pickguards on my Silo, and I'm wondering if there are any weird little things I need to know. Also, how to I remove the pot knobs and toggle switch knob? Thanks in advance, and I'll reward you all with pics after I'm done

It's all very straight forward, nothing to it but a single molex connector (assuming yours utilizes one). The knobs pull straight out. If they're too tight to get a grip on, I use a string or piece of material behind it, and pull.
