Hello,

I want to change my stock pickups (Steve's Special and Air Norton) to Crunch Lab and Liquifire but I would also like to have possibility to split coils with push pull knob offered in newest models.
Can anyone explain me if there's any major changes in wiring what shall I buy regarding pots or any important info that would help me to improve the sound of my guitar.

Thanks

I swapped out my Steve Specials and Air Nortons for LF/CL on my old JP6 too. It sounds even more amazing now. Its very easy - just follow the same wiring. Just keep an eye out for the pickup heights as you may need to tweak them. Best take a photo of the current setup before you start. Good luck!

Did you changed the pot to push -pull as well? I'm in a process of buying new pickups and need to do this via US as its significantly cheaper.

Thanks for a straight easy answer its really what i needed to know :)

Thanks for that one. Im wondering if someone could unscrew back plate and confirm that the mod is exact as the one you showed me... Actually I've posted back in 2009 but totally forgot about it ;)
