I'm probably going to get some of these printed up. What do you guys think? 2243 is my stormtrooper number with the 501st.

Very cool. Love the Star Wars - stormtrooper theme, plus it's personal for you . . . go for it.

I've always wondered what I'd put on my guitar picks. I'd probably go the video game route and have a picture of Master Chief's helmet from Halo.

Very cool! I had no idea that there were companies out there that would do custom printing on picks. You could compiment that with some custom printed M&M's and you'll be set! You could get all white M&M's with TD-2243 printed in black. :)

Looks cool. I don't get the 2243 and 501st bit though. I seen all the movies several times, but I guess I missed that one.

Paranoid, there was only one reference in the movies and it was in Star Wars. When TK-421 wasn't at his post and the Imperial officer was trying to reach him.

Soooo... the nerds kind of took it from there. There were a few guys costuming about 11 years ago and they sort of formed a group and called it the 501st. They came up with different ID letters for the different costumes. I'm a Sandtrooper, which is TD. There are about 4,000 people worldwide in the 501st.

I like the M&M idea too. Chocolate is good.

I ordered a whole bunch of the picks. Hopefully Clayton will accept the art without any troubles. I did go with the Acetal simply because of the pure white coloring. The Ultems are awesome, I admit and maybe I'll do different art using those someday.

Thanks rockers!

rad, cool design! Show us a "pic of your pick" :D once they arrive!

btw, I use Jazz III's (sharp stiffo). Can someone customize these? I suppose it would require some work to set up due to the raised lettering / logo artwork. (Plus I'm not Eric Johnson).

I use those too, but I doubt they can be customized unless you're a known artist. JP has some with his logo too. BTW have you noticed any difference between the black and the red? The black is supposedly harder but I can't really notice a difference.

Rocket, I've used both and couldn't really tell the difference for the smaller size. For the XL size, the black seemed stiffer than the red. I prefer the tiny picks.

I CAN tell the difference between a black Jazz III and a Fender medium!! :D

Dunlop does do custom printed picks, but not on that model, at least according to jimdunlop.com

Thanks rad! Too bad.
