it has been way too long (again, I know
), but because of lack of time, I only get to lurking around from time to time (my wife gave birth to our third son on the 1st of July 2009, so we are having our hands full with three kids ).
Apart from that, I joined a band late last year that was looking for a new guitar player. If you feel like it, you can check out a few demos on Noosa Falls. You can hear me playing the 20th Ann Sil on Age, Coming out and Blue Hotel in the Music section. The Me I like demo was recorded with their previous guitar player. I am playing through a Peavey Bandit amplifier (it sounds OK, but does not do the 20th Ann Sil complete justice that is why I am looking for a new amp). In Coming out all guitar parts were recorded with the 20th Ann Sil (not all by me, our female singer/guitar player used my guitar). I was also involved in the writing process of Coming out and in the idea behing the Blue Hotel cover, the other songs were already finalized when I joined the band, I just added my own ideas. Let me know what you think about these songs, positive or negative. I will start practicing more on my soloing skills since I stick to the blues scale way too much. If anybody can recommend me some good tutorials on soloing, please do so.
