hey everyone..ive got a problem with my christmas gift and i didnt know if any of you could help me out


my dad got me a 7ender hot rod tube amp...and it looks sweet and all but when i plugged it in to start playing all i get is a loud hum...it sounds fine when i play with the volume below 2 but if i turn it up higher than that it hums very loud, and its quite anoying...so can anyone here give me any pointers on how to set this amp up right??

try a different outlet in your house try a different guitar cable, try a different guitar if you have one just to see if you can rule out all the potential problems.

make sure u are using a shielded instrument cable..& not a speaker cable.
what kind of guitar u using ? what pickups are selected????
where are your tone & gain settings ?
what channel u using ????

yeah i know this isnt a fender forum...but i wouldnt trust those guys over there as much as i trust you guys.......and i figured it out right after i got done posting my post.....fender being all fender about it sends a great sounding amp..but one of the crappiest chords ever...so i took that off and threw on one of my old ones and now it plays like a charm...thanks for the help anyhow

Relax bro, l just thought the Fenders guys might know more about their product than the techies here, but there are alot of people here that are more than qualified to help you.
