Well today I saw lots of pics of subs with the diamond plate pickguard and I thought how cool would a silo look in black with chrome pickguard.Big Poppa, why don't you make them?

Maybe bcos EBMM knew that only some of us will be buying but not the mass market. You could always go to the aftermarket pickguards maker. ;)

What if you sweat on one that has a jagged edge, and then you need a tetnus shot every time you play it to prevent lockjawn. Haha, that would be crazy. I think they're pretty metal but I kinda lost touch with that look when Metallica stopped playing good music.

Jeb - Not really a huge fan of the diamond plate guards, but.... that one of yours with the large pattern looks pretty sharp on the Silo Spec. It goes well with the red too. Nice.

I've always wanted to make a guard out of stainless steel and have it finished in a brushed/satin look instead of real chrome-like. would look nice on a black Silo/SiloSpec. Maybe even on a white guitar, or that cool new light blue.

Probably because of the same reason why you cannot choose gold hardware as standard option ;)
