I just watching new Classic Sting Ray 5 in natural finish at official page:

classic-stingray-5 | basses | instruments

I just wanna say, ...that's my future bass, some day-somehow, just with flame maple neck/board!

That's most beautiful bass in the world at this moment (my personal opinion), it's soooo....Classic! :D

I want it, I want it, oh God I want one... :)

P.S. ...does anyone can tell me how long it will take to get one when make an order?
...the same like for my incoming reflex?

There is definitely something appealing about the no frills approach with 2-band, mutes, natural and black pickguard. A nice compliment to something a little more outrageous.

Oh, and the build time should be comparable to any other build time.

Yeah, I love flame maple neck!

Btw., did You noticed possible neck diving? I mean it's a 5 banger?

No neck dive. It's a traditional, proven body shape with the upper horn over the 12th fret. Mine gets comments about the flame neck all the time too. Then they hear it and they like the sound as well.

A buddy of mine plays a natural SR5 w/ a red tortoise pg and maple fingerboard. I've been after him to put a clear pg on it because it's got the most beautiful grain.

the natural is pretty sweet! i would love to own a backup for mine (which is white).

Just take care of Your Classic, white basses are killer lookers on the dark stages and beautiful under the bright stage light-show effects! ;)
