Help! Classic Sterling Pickgaurds

Hello All,

I'm fairly new to Musicman family. I played with a Musicman Sterling SB14 for 2 years, worked my butt off to save money for an American-made and finally purchased a sterling classic 4! Man I'm so incredibly overwhelmed with how good this bass is. Can't seem to put it down

I was wondering if the gurus out there would help me with one small question. Are the pickgaurds on the classic the same as the pickgaurds on the regular [non-classic] sterling? My only complaint with this gorgeous bass is the rather unsightly pickgaurd + pickup + body color combination. I was hoping to purchase a new one from WDMusic, but I've no idea if Musicman kept the specs the same.

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated by this noob
