Classic StingRay 2 band EQ

Does the 2 band EQ on the Classic StingRay boost and cut the EQ like the 3 band EQs?

yes, just like all the 2-band EBMM preamps, altough there is no center detent like the 3-band.

Interesting that the 2-band doesn't have the centre detents. I am under the impression (having both) that the 2-band doesn't cut and boost as much as the 3, but I don't know if that's just me or not. Either way they both sound good; just a slightly different flavour of the classic Stingray sound.
