I was wondering if there is anyway to purchase one of the bridges from the classic stingrays with the string mutes and put it on a normal stingray. Anyone know if this is possible?

Just buy a Classic. I have one and absolutely love it! I actually just played it today at church and it was sounding fantastic. I really do love the tones and sound this bass puts out. I could play it all day long and not get sick of it.

It will not fit without drilling holes, Like others have said just buy a Classic, they are the Chit these days if you like Vintage with a touch of Modern.

Not everyone can afford to simply buy a new bass instead of a new bridge for a current bass.

If you want to add a mute to your bass, you can either go with the low cost foam under the strings, or you can go with a BassMute from The BassMute - A smart muting device for Bass Players which is expensive, but a lot more versatile and exact than the Musicman bass muting system. I've got one and a couple other people here have them, too.

If you just want one because it looks cool, then, yeah--you're going to have to buy a Classic.
